This is a Kodak Disc format negative holder for use with Canon Canoscan 8800F/9000F/9950F and Mark II film scanners (US Patent Pending). This was custom made for use with the obsolete Kodak Disc format that was briefly popular some 30 years ago. Unfortunately not only is it almost impossible to get prints made from Kodak Disc negatives these days, but Disc negative holders are hard to come by and the ones that you can find cost upwards of $100.
Specifications for the Kodak Disc negative holder:
Overall: 65 mm diameter
Removing the center hub: This negative holder requires that you remove the center hub of your disc negative for the best results. This can be done one of two ways. The quick and easy method is to use a utility knife to cut the center hub out (see photo in the gallery above). The second method is to turn the disc numbers-side-down where you will find a black ring surrounding the hub on the top face. If you gently pry under this ring, you can lift it away and then remove the negative from the hub.
If you purchase multiple holders from us, we will adjust shipping charges after sale so that your shipping costs are combined.
